Before replacing, let's take a look at the "shock absorber".

1. The working principle of the hydraulic shock absorber of the vehicle: the upper support of the shock absorber is integrated with the piston and the piston rod, and is connected to the body; the lower support is integrated with the pressure cylinder and is connected to the lower control arm of the frame. When the vehicle moves relatively due to vibration, the piston inside the shock absorber will move up and down, forcing the hydraulic oil in the oil chamber to flow from one chamber to another from the piston flow valve repeatedly, and with the flow valve The friction between the hole wall and the oil, and the internal friction between the oil molecules form a damping force on the vibration, converting the vibration energy into heat energy and dissipating it into the atmosphere.

2. The shock absorber has two main functions: one is to damp the vibration transmitted to the body caused by uneven road surface or poor driving conditions, so as to maintain the smoothness of the vehicle and make the ride comfortable. The second is to quickly eliminate the vibration of the axles and wheels caused by the road surface to ensure that the wheels can grip the ground at any time, thereby ensuring the steering and braking functions of the vehicle and improving the safety of the vehicle.

To replace the "right rear shock absorber", remove the tire first. A piece of wood is supported under the rear axle, so that the rear axle does not sink and is easy to replace.

The "shock absorber buffer stop" was just replaced a few days ago. "Bumper" and "Shock Absorber" are not a complete set of accessories.

To replace the shock absorber, first remove the 2 screws that fix the "upper shock absorber bracket" to the vehicle body and the 1 fixing nut that connects the lower control arm of the lower frame. Remove the shock absorber.

Comparing the damaged shock absorber on the right rear with the new shock absorber, it can be seen that the old shock absorber "piston rod" does not rebound, and there is a lot of oil leakage on the surface.

Assemble the new shock absorber, assemble the upper support, buffer block and dust cover of the shock absorber with the new shock absorber.

The reverse operation completes the replacement of the right rear shock absorber. The same operation, replace the "left rear shock absorber".

Put the tire back on and you're done.
